Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour 2020

Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour 2020

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour is returning to the Bayou City for two inspiring nights of environmental cinema on January 28 and 29, 2020. Hosted for the sixth straight year by the Citizens’ Environmental Coalition, this ever-popular film fest will be screened once again at the historic River Oaks Theatre.

Tickets on sale now through Eventbrite.

Share the event with your friends on Facebook. Sign up for email reminders on the CEC website.

The January festival is just one of many offerings as part of the Houston Green Film Series, including the Wild About Houston Film Festival. CEC is using this festival to tell local environmental stories, highlight the work of CEC’s member organizations, and inspire our residents and visitors to make a difference in the local environment and our quality of life.

The lineup will include three films that were selected from among the films at the Wild About Houston Green Film Festival in October 2019. Come out to support the Houston Parks Board, Buffalo Bayou Partnership and Environmental Defense Fund films.

The auction has some GREAT items, including a boat ride on Buffalo Bayou, a pontoon ride through Armand Bayou, a bat chat with Houston’s Wildlife Biologist, an exclusive photograph from Jaime Gonzalez, a farm-to-table dinner with a chef from Central City Co-op, and a Peak Design Every Day Tote. Plus, fun door prizes.
