CEC welcomes Imad Farooque as Community Engagement Intern

Imad Farooque is a senior at University of Houston – Downtown who is currently studying Political Science and International Relations. He is a keen reader of foreign policy and strategic studies. His passion for serving mother nature was instilled in him since childhood. The love for nature and protecting all organisms of life has given Imad an opportunity to learn more about the environment and how global policies can be adopted to protect the most vulnerable of societies. In his spare time, Imad loves to stay in shape and work out regularly while also enjoying sports such as swimming, tennis, and soccer. Imad has also served the City of Sugar Land as a volunteer and has committed to over 60 hours of service. He is excited to volunteer for CEC in the summer while also studying full time. He wants to contribute to a greener and more prosperous Houston and learn ways which will benefit mankind at large by gaining utmost wisdom from his peers and mentors.
