H-GAC seeks comments on the Regional Mitigation Funds Method of Distribution, February 3, 2022

Regional Councils impacted by Hurricane Harvey are developing a distribution method for allocating mitigation funds. These regional investments will work to reduce the risk of environmental disasters such as hurricanes, tropical storms and depressions, and flooding hazards. H-GAC has received $488 M in a community development block grant and is seeking input in the distribution method. Public comments will be accepted until February 4, at 5 PM.
