CEC welcomes Jessie Roussel as a Membership & Communications Intern
Jessie Roussel is a rising sophomore at Needville High School. She hopes to study at UT Austin once she graduates, and would like to pursue a job in environmental law. She hopes to do this job in order to help better the environment for future generations. She is very passionate about the future of the planet and hopes to make a difference in the lives of everyday people.
In her free time, Jessie volunteers at places such as the Houston Zoo and at her local church. She is in several clubs and activities including choir, Spanish club, and the school’s athletics. In athletics, Jessie plays on Needville High School’s varsity soccer team and junior varsity cross country team. She loves to express creativity in any way possible, making some of her hobbies artistically challenging. These hobbies include painting, sewing, and writing. Jessie also loves to spend quality time outside on her family farm or even at Brazos Bend State park. Her dream is to create a healthy and sustainable life for herself.
This summer, Jessie will be assisting the CEC in community outreach and connecting organizations around Texas.
