In Memoriam: John Tveten
Many of you may have already heard that the great naturalist John Tveten passed away Monday, October 12. A memorial for John will be held at Armand Bayou Nature Center on October 29 at 6:30 pm.
Trees For Houston Planting in Stude Park on Saturday, October 31
Keep Heights Green, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to replant trees in the Greater Heights area lost during Hurricane Ike, is hosting a planting event at Stude Park on Saturday, October 31, from 1 to 3 p.m.
