The Gulf of Mexico Alliance (GOMA) is a partnership of the five Gulf States, federal agencies, academic organizations, businesses, and other non-profits in the region. Our goal is to significantly increase regional collaboration to enhance the environmental and economic health of the Gulf of Mexico.

The Texas Mini-Grant Program is a public-private partnership, administered by GOMA and funded by agencies, businesses, and private organizations, to provide funding for projects that address immediate needs as a result of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Mini-grants can be used to fund immediate needs in the following priority areas: water quality or water quantity, wildlife or fisheries, natural habitats, and resilience.

Award values range from $5,000 to $10,000 and will be provided to the recipient upon execution of a grant agreement. Applications should be submitted via email to Laura Bowie at Laura.Bowie@gomxa.org by Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
