The Lower Colorado River Authority has an opening for a water conservation coordinator to work in Austin. This staffer will assist in formulation and implementation of water conservation strategies for wholesale water customers and develop and oversee the marketing of new conservation programs to wholesale customers.
Texas Discovery Gardens is looking for a children’s education director. This staffer will teach at the garden and at local schools and community centers.
The Mothers for Clean Air annual meeting will be Saturday, June 10, from 9 – 11:30 AM, at Emerson United Unitarian Church, 1900 Bering Drive. The program will include a discussion of two new Mothers for Clean Air projects, community monitoring and Ozone Theater.
