Each year, the CEC hosts the Synergy Awards to recognize local individuals and organizations for their notable environmental projects and achievements. The winners are chosen from nominations made by the environmental community at large. Here are this year’s honorees.
The Citizens’ Environmental Coalition will honor local activists and organizations for environmental service at the annual Synergy Awards celebration on Wednesday, November 4, 2009.
Many of you may have already heard that the great naturalist John Tveten passed away Monday, October 12. A memorial for John will be held at Armand Bayou Nature Center on October 29 at 6:30 pm.
