TCEQ Agenda Meeting – June 30, 2021

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality consider the following agenda items at the agenda meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 30, 2021, which can be viewed virtually starting at 9:30 AM. The Commission will review petitions for permit applications, enforcement actions, permit reconsiderations; as well as Agreed and Default Orders on issues regarding  public water systems, Edwards Aquifer, municipal solid waste, petroleum storage tanks, and air quality (among others). Public comments on any matters within the jurisdiction of the TCEQ will also be allowed. Registration for public comments at the agenda meeting will conclude at 9:30AM and will require participants to join the meeting through webinar with the ID 578-221-763.

Item 4 New Business Agenda: Consideration of material changes to contracts under Chapter 2155 of the Texas Government Code (for goods and services) executed during the previous quarter.

Item 9 New Business Agenda: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for air quality violations, and requiring certain actions of Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA in Harris County.

Item 12 New Business Agenda: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for waste tires violations, and requiring certain actions of Russbel Davila dba RDM Tire Service in Harris County.

Item 20 New Business Agenda: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for water quality violations, and requiring certain actions of the City of Pasadena in Harris County.

Item 21 New Business Agenda: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for water quality violations, and requiring certain actions of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 134A in Fort Bend County.

Item 27 New Business Agenda: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for public drinking water quality violations, and requiring certain actions of SOHNA Investments, Inc. in Harris County.

Item 33 New Business Agenda: Consideration of the adoption of amended sections, new sections, and Chapter 115 (Control of Air Pollution from Volatile Organic Compounds) to the volatile organic compounds (VOC) reasonably available control technology (RACT) state implementation plan(SIP) revisions, as required by the EPA.
