CEC has a lot in store for you this Earth Month. We have events including films, art, talks, and of course Earth Day. Let’s encourage action this Earth Month and focus on the urgent need for environmental justice, sustainability, and climate solutions. April 2: Archway Gallery Exhibition Opening

‘For the Love of Earth’

This group exhibition of Archway artists “challenges the viewer to consider the fragility of our planet and all living things on it and to take actions which will bring beneficial change.” The Exhibition is from April 2 to May 5.

This includes two speaker events with our board members on April 7, and April 21.

April 10: Earth Day at Discovery Green

Our annual Earth Day event at Discovery Green is back! Presented in partnership with the Citizens’ Environmental Coalition, Discovery Green’s citywide Earth Day celebration is designed to educate, inspire and encourage action. April 23: Houston Green Films Series at Houston Public Library

Our Houston Green Film Series is showing at the Houston Public Library. The Public Library is hosting its first annual Earth Day, where you can enjoy story time, music, movies, and earth-friendly activities. This includes our Houston Green Film Series, which will feature a variety of films and Houston-based organizations that will leave you inspired to create change. Join us at the Public Library!

April 23: Earth Day at Post Houston

Earth Day is premiering across Houston this year, with Post Houston also hosting their first-ever Earth Day. The two-day celebration combines a clean technology conference with cultural exhibitions designed to educate the public about urgent issues facing the planet.
