Houston City Council Agenda- March 22 & 23, 2022

The city will consider the following agenda items at the Houston City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 22 (public meeting) and Wednesday, March 23 (council meeting) in the City Hall Chamber. The agenda includes items on the Hurricane Harvey Community Development Block Grant, land for parks and for the addition of land to districts.

Consent Agenda Items

Agenda Item 10 gives an award to Environmental Improvements inc in the amount of $15 K for the purchase of drinking water chain of fights parts.

Agenda Item 13 and Agenda 14 is a performance-based loan of 2017 Community Development Block Grant- Disaster Recovery Funds to the St Bernard Project, Inc.

Agenda Item 15 is an amendment to the grant agreement with The Women’s Home to provide Hurricane Harvey Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery Funds for Hurricane Harvey public services activities.

Agenda Item 16 for the purchase of 14.95 acres of land for Quasar City Park, LTD.

Agenda Item 33 is the addition of 20.71 acres of land to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 468.

Agenda Item 34 is the addition of 21.78 acres of land to Northgate Crossing Municipal Utility District No. 2.

Agenda Item 35 prohibits the use of designated groundwater beneath a tract of land containing 19 acres commonly known as 925 South Loop West, Houston, Texas.

Agenda Item 36 prohibits the use of designated groundwater beneath a tract of land containing 31.45 acres commonly known as 825 South Loop West, Houston, Texas.

Agenda Item 38 and Agenda Item 39 are Houston Water Service Line of Houston Public Works Wastewater Construction Contracts.
