Throwback Thursday: Wild & Scenic Film Festival
This week, we ask you to look back seven years to our first Wild & Scenic film festival on tour. For CEC, film festivals are significant in telling the stories of environmental movements and celebrating our member organizations work. Your support help build these festivals, and together we can create meaningful conversation about topics that matter. Thanks for all your support!
After hosting a sold-out showing in January 2015, the film festival is back for its eighth year. We described it in 2015 as being ‘our hope to use the festival to increase community understanding of the connection we share with the planet and our roles as stewards of the environment in which we live.’ This year we continue this mission with the themes of conservation, environmental justice, and the activists behind these movements.
