Description: Please join Satori School for its Community Energy Fair, “Energizing the Future” Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Kempner Park and historic Garten Verein, 2704 Avenue O, Galveston Texas. The objective of this fair is to highlight ways to maintain a greener healthy lifestyle that encourages energy conservation and sustainability for generations to come. Our goal is to create a catalyst for positive change informing and educating our community on renewable energy production, energy efficiency, and sustainable living. “Recognized both as the state and national primary School of the Year, 2011, by the federal agency, National Energy Education Development (NEED) program, Satori School is indeed the model for educating future generations in Galveston about the importance of energy conservation. We know that you will want to be a part of our award winning commitment.”

This informative fun event is open to the community and will have something fun for all ages. It will showcase environmental innovation, energy conservation workshops, local and national exhibitors, children’s activities, hands-on demonstrations, alternative transportation, eco-friendly displays, entertainment, farmers market, food and more. Community groups and businesses will demonstrate ideas, products and services that can help reduce our carbon footprint and lead to a better future.
