National Trails Day is not a day to go take a hike – it’s the day to take care of your favorite trail. Several local groups have projects planned.
The last trip of the season for the project will be Saturday, June 7 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Take the boat ‘Smith Point’ from Anahuac Harbor, make a stop at the Wallisville Locks for a demonstration of the saltwater barrier and stop in the Trinity River Delta to explore the wetlands.
