WATER FESTIVAL ON MAY 10
The city of Houston’s Water Festival will be Thursday, May 10, from 10 am to 2 pm at Downtown Aquarium, 410 Bagby (outside). Mayor White will proclaim May as Water Conservation Awareness Month and greet the student winners of the 2007 Water Conservation T-Shirt Design Contest.
STUDY THE 2035 TRANSPORTATION PLAN
The Livable Houston Network study group will explore the 2035 Regional Transportation Plan, concentrating on TxDOT and HCTRA’s apparent agreement to use toll revenues to fast track construction of a series of major freeway expansions (which is further explained below).
