On Thursday, May 18, Betin Santos of Environmental Defense will give a talk about reducing diesel pollution in Houston, at the monthly Air Exchange meeting sponsored by the Galveston-Houston Association for Smog Prevention and Mothers for Clean Air.
Memorial Park is Houston’s most visited park. On Tuesday, May 23, there will be an afternoon golf tournament to benefit the Memorial Park Conservancy. The Conservancy supports a variety of park improvement projects and recently completed building three miles of new trails to the park.
