As part of the Texas Environmental Leadership Program, some of Houston’s brightest college students will be dedicating themselves to solving local environmental problems. The students will receive training in environmental advocacy.
The Houston Audubon Society is looking for an assistant director of development. Responsibilities include preparing grant applications, processing gifts, managing acknowledgement process, preparing reports, managing direct mail appeals, managing or assisting with fundraising events, and administering membership program.
San Jacinto Conservation Coalition is looking for part-time paid and volunteer interns. Depending on interns’ interest and experience, work may include work on grant applications, developing a canoe and kayak trail, website design, desktop publishing, Powerpoint design, and other activities.
