Galveston Bay Foundation seeks Water Quality Outreach Summer Intern

The Galveston Bay Foundation seeks a part-time (~20-hour per week) summer intern to work on various outreach tasks, particularly related to its water quality and water conservation programs. Job duties include preparing for upcoming non-point source pollution workshops, assisting with the implementation of the GBF rain barrel program, promoting and evaluating several non-point source pollution campaigns to improve water quality, conducting monthly marine debris surveys with citizen scientists, and supporting outreach activities, such as boothing events, presentations, and workshops. Candidates should be current university students working towards a degree in water resources, environmental science, environmental education, advocacy, or other relevant field.
