The City of Houston Mayor’s Office of Education is seeking a part-time intern who will primarily be responsible for the coordination of MOE’s Connecting Children to Nature – Houston program (CCCN-H). Duties will include: providing coordination with Houston Parks and Recreation Department, Houston Public Library, Houston Health Department, Mayor’s Office of Complete Communities, Greater Houston school districts, and all internal and external nature stakeholders; determining goals for the CCCN program; implementing a variety of activities; ensuring stakeholder engagement; and providing effective communication to all partners. Mercer Botanic Center seeks Herbarium/Botany Summer Intern

The Mercer Botanical Center at Mercer Botanic Gardens is seeking a
Herbarium/Botany Summer Intern. The Intern will catalog and geo-reference plant specimens of this important collection of the flora of the Houston metropolitan area and East Texas. The internship will be from May 11, 2019 – August 30, 2019. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Those interested should complete the internship application found at testhcp4.net.
