The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is a private non-profit nature sanctuary that provides education about the natural environment and plays a vital role in protecting plants and animals in the heart of the City of Houston. The Center’s Summer Camp is a 10-week nature camp for children ages 4-12, running June 1 through August 7. The Center has three paid internship positions available for Education or Biology majors to act as co-teachers. This is a great way to get some hands-on experience working with students and learn more about the native flora and fauna in our region. The salary is $10/hour.
