Webinar on How State and Local Governments Promote and Proclaim SepticSmart Week

SepticSmart Week 2017 is September 18-22. For last year’s SepticSmart Week 2016, 15 state governors, mayors, and county officials and two EPA Regions issued SepticSmart Week Proclamations. A SepticSmart Week Proclamation encourages all homeowners and business owners with septic systems to use the SepticSmart program to learn proper maintenance of their systems and ensure appropriate treatment and disposal of wastewater. Webinar presenters will outline the process taken for governors, mayors, or localities to issue SepticSmart Week 2017 Proclamations.
