Get Outdoors! Nature Walk

Come explore and learn more about the wild side of nature in the city with our fun, family friendly nature walks in Russ Pitman Park. Join us while we sneak up on lizards, peer into the trees for looks at birds, discover the latest blooms and their pollinators in our Pocket Prairie, spy on the secret life of animals that hide under logs, and investigate more seasonal nature surprises! Learn some tips to explore nature with your family in your own backyard or on your travels. Ages 4 and up are welcome. Walks are 45 min â€“ 1 hr long.

Limit:Â 10 people total to allow for better social distancing. Please bring your mask to wear when/if social distancing is not possible.

Program Location:Â Meet on the front porch of the Center

Ages:Â This program is intended for families.Â This is not a drop off program. All children must be registered and must be accompanied by registered adults.Â

Cost:Â Members are FREE but must register as attendees; Nonmembers pay $5 / person for their registration

Attendance limits:Â 15 people to allow for distancing and the best quality experience for our attendees.
