You’ve been asking for it, and now you’re getting it… in the middle of Summer!

Our first volunteer day at the farm will be this Saturday, July 22nd from 9-11am.
The first year’s weeds are tough on any sustainable vegetable farm, but the Gulf Coast’s summer weeds are the most insidious around! We have some crops that are experiencing significant weed pressure and we could really use your help to get them cleaned up.
We’ll start the day at 9 sharp with a farm tour, so please be on time. Weeding will commence shortly thereafter and we’ll hope to get a significant portion of our peppers, eggplant and okra weeded.

We’ll provide water and some shade tents as well as excellent conversation. We need you to bring a resilient summer spirit, sun protection (hats!) sturdy closed-toe shoes and something to drink out of.

All ages are welcome, but under 16 must have adult supervision at all times.

Community Support is a big part of our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program (its 2/3 of it to be exact), so we really appreciate you all rolling up your sleeves and joining us for a few hours of good old fashioned field work.

Loam Agronomics is a 288-acre farm located in Richmond, TX. CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) allows Houston residents to have direct access to high quality fresh produce grown locally.
