Solarize Houston Organizational Meeting

HREG is taking leadership of Solarize Houston, the grass roots, volunteer, non-profit group organizing Houstonians in a group purchase of solar panels and installation for residents and businesses in Houston.  In 2016, Solarize Houston participants contracted for 13 projects for a total of 109 kW of new solar capacity and saved 15% – 20%.

Solarize Houston needs volunteers before it can launch another group purchase. HREG and Solarize Houston will plan a program for 2017.  If you would like to help bring more clean solar energy to Houston or would like a discount on a solar system, attend this planning meeting, or if you can’t make it, please send an email to solarizehouston@outlook.com so they know you are interested.
