Reopened Woodway Entrance of the Houston Arboretum

Guided tours by Arboretum experts at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. (Coffee, water and snacks provided)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• You will be immersed in the environment before even getting out of your car
• The tour goes through the new parking loop, past the two new ponds and through several of the new trails, including the donor boardwalk
•  Will showcase the savanna field station
•  Will include info on sustainable measures we took, restoration information and visitor amenities
• A new entrance wall and gate and a new fence that allows visual access to walkers, runners and bikers on the hike and bike trails
• New ponds that are already home to wildlife such as turtles, tadpoles, insects and birds
