The Houston Chapter of the Environmental & Water Resources Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers will be conducting a moderated panel discussion about “Atlas 14” – the federal effort to update rainfall intensity, duration, and frequency estimates for Texas – and the future of drainage design and flood damage reduction efforts. The lunchtime event will feature Sandra Pavlovic, P.E. of the National Weather Service; Russ Poppe, P.E., of Harris County Flood Control District; and Steve Costello, P.E., City of Houston’s Chief Resilience Officer.  The moderator will by Michael F.
