National Trails Day at Armand Bayou Nature Center

ABNC is an official National Trails Day host! Plan to experience the outdoors on June 3th with other nature lovers across the nation. Come join millions of hikers across the nation as we head outside to walk or paddle a trail!

6:15 am to 8:15 am Early Morning Hike Reservations Required
Come experience the nature center as it wakes up in the early morning! The early morning hike will begin at 6:15 am so you can experience sunrise at the nature center.
Reservations are required by phone 281-474-2551 or in person and payment is required at the time of reservation.

Ages: 12—Adult, an adult must accompany children under 18 Fee: $10.00
A door prize will be given to one of the early morning hikers.

8:00 am to 11:00 am Guided Canoe Tour
Paddle on a guided tour of Armand Bayou! Observe wildlife as you meander down the calm waters. Travel approximately 2-3 miles round trip. Beginners and experienced canoers are welcomed. ABNC knowledgeable guides will give a brief orientation. Life jackets are provided.

9: 00 am to 4:00 pm ABC Hike
This self-guided hike along the boardwalk offers a way for the younger hikers to read and learn all about the nature center as they experience the outdoors. Fee: Included in Admission

10:00 am and 2:00 pm Guided Hike
These hikes will be led by an ABNC Trails volunteer.
Fee: Included in Admission
Door prizes drawn hourly from 10 am to 4 pm
