ATTENTION HOME FRUIT GROWERS — & HOPEFUL GROWERS:  On Sat., May 20, Galveston County Master Gardeners are opening orchards with vegetable gardens — a fantastic opportunity to learn from the experts. You can visit in any order, free, no registration required:

  • 5202 Highland Road, Santa Fe, TX 77517 – a GCMG’s personal garden
  • 4102 Main Street (Hwy 519), La Marque, TX 77568 – GCMG’s official orchard & garden
  • 6309 Ave. U, Dickinson, TX 77539, located off Bowerman Road and FM 519 – Wilson and Renee Hillman’s Fruits ‘n Such Orchard
