On June 1, 2018, from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., the Houston-Galveston Area Council will host a workshop on “Long-Term Economic Recovery and Resilience,” designed to connect local governments and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey with resource agencies. 

Representatives from many agencies will be on-site to answer questions and discuss long-term regional recovery, including:

  • Economic Development Administration (EDA)
  • Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
  • Texas Department of Agriculture
  • Texas Department of Emergency Management
  • Texas Department of Insurance
  • Texas Workforce Commission
  • US Department of Agriculture
  • US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS)
  • US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD)
  • US Department of Labor
  • US Department of Treasury
  • US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
  • US Small Business Administration (SBA)
