‘Kick Off Your List’ Bird Walk

Start off 2018 with the birds!

Does your New Year’s resolution include learning something new?  Build up your bird list with our “Kick off your List” hike at Sheldon Lake SP.  We will walk the forest, ponds, and trails looking for typical and unusual bird species to start off our year lists.  Make sure to come out for our Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, and Great Kiskadee!  From beginning birders to advanced, everyone is welcome to come!  Some binoculars will be available to borrow.

This will be an easy 1 1/2 mile hike on trails.  Be prepared by bringing water, closed-toe shoes, and your binoculars and bird checklist!  We will start off at the Pond Center.
