Dr. William Dupré, emeritus professor of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, will speak on “How Geologic Forces Shape Texas Rivers.” He will talk about what controls the landforms and flow characteristics associated with rivers, as seen from the perspective of a geologist/hydrologist.

He will end with a segment with what he calls “Ask the River Doc”, where he will answer some questions selected from a long list submitted by a club member. He also encourages the audience to ask questions throughout his talk.
