Course Family Friendly

Houston Audubon Docents will lead a hands-on science program for families to participate in together. From building bird feeders to identifying backyard bugs, naturalists of all ages enjoy quality time outdoors, creative art projects, and guided nature walks.

  • Nov 17: Fall in the Forest – Craft: Leaf Art
  • Dec 15: Christmas in the Woods – Craft: Creative Natural Ornaments

The program runs from 1-4 p.m., followed by a nature hike at 2 p.m.

Fee: $5 per person suggested donation. No reservations needed.

The Saturdays in Nature program is designed for families and individuals. Please do NOT bring your scout troop, class, play group, etc. to this program as a group activity. Thank you.
