The goal of this summit is to bring together local school district leadership, design and engineering professionals, and community members to discuss:

  • What is a 21st Century School and how do they support 21st Century learning environments?
  • How can we fund, design, build and operate more of them in our region?

Presentations will include best practices and case studies ranging from enhanced student performance to taxpayer savings that create investment value. We will explore strategies for embedding “green” and High Performance thinking into the funding, design, construction and operations of all schools.

The Summit will conclude with a guided discussion between all participants on how the Houston-Galveston region can make all schools 21st Century learning environments within the next 10 years. Save the date and register early (by Monday, August 28, 2017) for a discounted registration price. Visit usgbctexas.org to learn more about USGBC.
