Ghost Hike and Mermaid Tales

Come with Ranger Lisa and explore mysteries of the ocean from the safety of the land. They will be talking about myths of Galveston Island’s Native Americans, pirates, and explorers while walking the beach.

Restrooms available, pets welcome on leash. Shells and other treasures can be collected.

What to Expect:

• Short evening hike from the Beach Picnic area.
• Views of the sunset.
• Historical stories and tales.
• Exploring for animals, treasure, mysteries.

Be Prepared:

• Be sure to have a park permit
• Flashlight for exploring afterwards
• Water bottle
• Hiking gear (flip flop approved hike!)
