GBF’s Brews and Barrels Workshop

Save water with a rain barrel and a beer at the upcoming workshop at Saint Arnold Brewing Company on Sunday, August 27, 2017, from 11 AM to 2 PM.

“Brews & Barrels” is the first Galveston Bay Foundation (GBF) rain barrel workshop where participants can enjoy local brews at Texas’s oldest craft brewery while learning the environmental benefits of rain barrels – much needed tools for water conservation especially now during the summer Houston downpours.

Registration is $40, which includes one 35-gallon barrel + one connector kit, admission to the workshop for yourself and one guest, and two beer tokens! Workshop participants can purchase a maximum of 2 barrels + 2 kits. Note: Due to the size of our workshops and the barrel prep process, GBF cannot accommodate installation. After attending the workshop, you will have all the materials and instructions needed to install the barrel at your home. Doors and taps open at 11am, the workshop will commence around noon. Each barrel registered will receive two beer tokens and additional beer will be available for purchase.
