Full Moon Hike
Join us each month to explore a different section of the nature center in hopes of seeing nocturnal animals. All sorts of things have been spotted – no lions, tigers, or bears, but definitely raccoons, opossums, coyotes, owls, fireflies and even flying squirrels!

The monthly 90 minute hikes begin just after sunset. Hikers are asked to wear comfortable clothing. Small children should not attend since hikers have a better chance of viewing nocturnal animals in a relatively quiet atmosphere. Routes and start times vary monthly. Meet at the Visitor’s Center unless otherwise stated. Hikes are weather permitting and free with general admission to the nature center.
