Flower Garden Banks Sanctuary Advisory Council meeting

A public meeting of the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the sanctuary offices.

Dr. John Anderson with Rice University – “Changing Texas Coastline”
Ryan Hannum with Moody Gardens – “Coral Rescue Lab”
Amanda Rinehart with ArtistBoat – “Building Capacity of Local Educators to Increase Climate Literacy in their Community”
Dr. Mercer Brugler with City University of New York – “Molecular and Morphological Mysteries of Black Corals”

Council members will also hear updates about the sanctuary, as well as the Underwater Webcam Working Group. Public comment period begins at 1 p.m.
