Dragonflies and damselflies are important in both terrestrial and aquatic food webs. In this class you’ll learn how to tell “dragons” and “damsels” apart and discover their strange double-lives in water and air. You’ll also find answers to such questions as: Is it possible to breathe and poop via the same orifice? Can dragonflies prey on birds? And what is the killer lip?

Notes: Wear walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
