In August, the Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church is presenting a virtual lecture series about climate change — its causes, direct and indirect effects, policies that can impact its course, and actions we can take as individuals, households, businesses, schools, and faith communities to make a difference.

The series will kick off August 16 with Rice University professor Dan Cohan, who will discuss Science of Climate Change: Causes and Direct Effects.

Daniel Cohan is an associate professor of environmental engineering at Rice University, Dept. of Civil & Environmental Engineering, and author of the forthcoming book, Confronting Climate Gridlock.

Time for interactive discussion will be provided after his talk.
