Astronomy Night on the Katy Prairie

Join Katy Prairie Conservancy and marvel at the vast, illuminated night skies of the Katy Prairie on the Indiangrass Preserve. The Fort Bend Astronomy Club will provide multiple indoor presentations throughout the event, telescopes for solar viewing in the late afternoon, and night sky viewing after dark. You will also have the opportunity for solar viewing before sunset. For those who wish to come to both, you will have the opportunity to take in one of the spectacular prairie sunsets while waiting for nighttime viewing.

• 6:30 pm to sunset – presentations and solar viewing
• Sunset to 10:00 pm – presentations and nighttime viewing
