The Nature Conservancy’s first-ever Adopt-A-Beach cleanup! This 2,300-acre coastal grassland provides critical habitat for a variety of birds and wildlife, and Nature Conservancy needs your help to keep it healthy.  You will be collecting debris along the craggy shoreline along Galveston Bayou, a popular spot for resident shorebirds. Adopt-A-Beach is the nation’s biggest all-volunteer coastal cleanup, so bring the whole family and get involved! The event is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. To sign up in advance please go to: www.TexasAdoptABeach.org, or sign up onsite starting at 8:30 that morning. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Adriane Arnold at adriane.arnold@tnc.org.
