Friends of the Neches River National Wildlife Refuge
Friends of the Neches River Refuge and the US Fish and Wildlife Service invite the public to a free Field Day at the Neches River National Wildlife Refuge. This is a rare chance to visit the Refuge before it opens to the public. Entrance to the Refuge is on the east side of the Neches River bridge on US Hwy 79, halfway between Palestine and Jacksonville – watch for the signs. Please bring a camp chair.
