2017 Trash Bash®

Every year, thousands of volunteers gather along Texas waterways to do their part in cleaning up the environment by participating in the largest single day waterway cleanup in the state of Texas, the River, Lakes, Bays ‘N Bayous Trash Bash®. Founded in 1994 by the Houston-Galveston Area Council and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality with 7 sites and 3,000 volunteers, Trash Bash® has grown to 15 sites across the Galveston Bay Watershed with an average of 4,500 volunteers annually.  For more information and to sign up, visit www.trashbash.org.
