The monthly 90-minute hikes begin just after sunset. Join the Baytown Nature Center each month on the Saturday closest to the full moon to explore a different section of the nature center in hopes of seeing nocturnal animals. All sorts of things have been spotted – raccoons, opossums, coyotes, owls, fireflies and even flying squirrels!
Hikers are asked to wear comfortable clothing. Small children should not attend since hikers have a better chance of viewing nocturnal animals in a relatively quiet atmosphere. Routes and start times vary monthly. Meet at the Visitor’s Centers unless otherwise stated. Hikes are weather permitting and free with general admission.
Fall hikes:
- Saturday, September 22, 7:00 pm
- Saturday, October 27, 8:30 pm
- Saturday, November 24, 6:30 pm
