The EcoChallenge is an opportunity to change your life for good. Common wisdom says it takes at least two weeks to change a habit: if you can stick with a new behavior for 14 days in a row, you’re a lot more likely to keep it up forever. EcoChallengers share their progress and earn points for taking action. The combination of collective inspiration, camaraderie and friendly competition makes change a little easier — and a lot more fun.
The Interfaith Environmental Network of Houston invites you to join their team for this year’s Eco-Challenge. For more information on the Interfaith Environmental Network of Houston, contact Lisa Brenskelle at gcs.lrc@gmail.com.

Keep America Beautiful presents Recycle Bowl, a national K-12 competition between schools to invigorate student participation in recycling efforts. The competition runs from October 15 to November 15, 2018. Through Recycle-Bowl, Keep America Beautiful hopes to excite students and improve recycling in elementary, middle and high schools across America.
The Recycle-Bowl competition has three division categories (School, Community, and District Divisions) allowing schools to compete where they fit best. The Recycle-Bowl also features a non-competitive, “Open Division†that is less formal and accommodates schools that register late.Â
