Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church invites you to join them for a Creation Hymn Fest, a musical celebration of renewal during the season of Easter (and Earth month). The church will celebrate and give thanks for God’s good creation in hymns and songs from various lands and traditions and hear anew the call to care for the creation. Attendees will sing well known and loved hymns as well as be introduced to some new musical friends! Light refreshments served afterward.
Christ the King is located at 2353 Rice Blvd. in Houston. Metro bus lines 41 and 27 stop nearby. Bike parking is available in the church lot on Rice Blvd.

The Baytown Parks and Recreation Department is expecting nearly 40,000 Easter Eggs to be on site for 6 egg hunting sessions starting at 11:30am on Saturday, March 24th. Each session will be divided by age and have limited entries to ensure safety for all participants. FREE EVENT- Egg Hunt from ages 0-12 years
On this day, thousands of Houstonians from every part of the city converge on Miller Hill to fly kites of all shapes and colors.
The FREE festival, chaired by Morgan Garvey, Molly Neff, and Linsay Radcliffe, also offers entertainment, interactive activities and crafts in the H-E-B Kids’ Zone, friendly kite flying, face painting, food trucks, and much more!

Enjoy egg rolls, bunny races, spoon races, and other traditional Easter games at Redbud Hill Homestead. Bring a picnic lunch. Ages 12 or under. Reservations required beginning Mar. 21, 2018.
All Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center programs requiring reservations are limited in size and open to one family per phone call. Group reservations are not allowed unless otherwise indicated. Preferential reservations are given to Harris County residents. Persons not residing in Harris County may attend a space-limited program if spaces are available.
All programs and events are free of charge unless otherwise noted and open to the public regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, physical ability, national origin, or religion. Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in these programs should contact the nature center. Programs meet at the Nature Center unless otherwise noted. This year’s festival will feature a food truck, interactive nature stations, live animal encounters, and children’s crafts and activities. Attwater Prairie Chicken Festival is the annual celebration of the Attwater’s prairie-chicken and the native coastal prairie that the iconic bird calls home.
Early morning van tours will take participants up to one of the booming grounds to watch the male prairie chicken’s famous courtship dance. Other events this weekend include wildflower and native plant guided tours, bird walks and birding van tours with experienced birders, refuge management tours and a merchandise booth sponsored by the Friends of Attwater Prairie Chicken Refuge.
Sturdy shoes, drinking water, binoculars and/or spotting scopes and field guides are recommended.
