We’d like to invite you to learn more about how communities throughout the Houston-Galveston region are revitalizing their downtowns at H-GAC’s Bringing Back Main Street: Revitalization Roundtable on Tuesday, October 24.
During this roundtable, the Texas Historical Commission will present ways they support local downtown commercial districts and their small business tenants.
Emily Koller will talk about DowntownTX.org, a new tool from the commission that showcases downtown real estate and acts as a data clearinghouse for Main Street programs, economic development coordinators, chambers of commerce, and others.
Not only will you hear about exciting innovative programs, there will be an opportunity to network with others working to improve our region’s downtowns.
BikeHouston is teaming up with our partner Bike Shops to bring you the Third Thursday Social.
This is a chance for members and supporters to meet and greet with shop owners, get to know them a little better, and go for a fun ride in the area. Snacks and refreshments provided.
Information will be updated on this page, once we determine the shop for the month.
To register, visit the Third Thursday Social’s event page.
