Search the trails at Sheldon Lake State Park for some of the amazing birds of Texas. Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair! Everyone is welcome on this 2-mile walk, it is for beginners through advanced birders. We will be searching for some of Sheldon Lake State Park’s resident bird species as well as any migrants that may be flying by on their way north!

Houston Audubon is sponsoring free bird walks at the Edith Moore Nature Sanctuary in West Houston.  Bird walks will be led by Paul Fagala of Wild Birds Unlimited and Houston Audubon staff and volunteers every Wednesday morning, April 5-May 10 and every Saturday morning, April 8-May 13

Join a ranger to learn about some of the birds that live at the park and try your hand at creating a nest!
