Virtually Wild! Texas

Virtually WILD! Texas – students can interact LIVE with scientists & conservationists across the region. See archived videos on the Facebook page. The program lasts 45 minutes, and occurs twice a day. Check the website for specific times (they vary).

Grade Levels: This program is planned at a 3rd – 5th grade level, but participants of all ages will gain useful information.

Registration: Sign up through Region 4 ESC to gain access to each live program.

Join in to see wild places around Houston, and meet the people working hard to keep them wild.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality consider the following agenda items at the agenda meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, 2021, which can be viewed virtually starting at 9:30 AM. The Commission will review petitions for amendments to administrative codes and permits as well as Agreed and Default Orders on issues regarding petroleum storage tanks, municipal waste discharge, public water system, industrial waste discharge, and air quality (among others). Public comments on any matters within the jurisdiction of the TCEQ will also be allowed. Item 27 New Business Agenda: Consideration of an Agreed Order assessing administrative penalties, for public drinking water quality violations, and requiring certain actions of SOHNA Investments, Inc. in Harris County.

Item 33 New Business Agenda: Consideration of the adoption of amended sections, new sections, and Chapter 115 (Control of Air Pollution from Volatile Organic Compounds) to the volatile organic compounds (VOC) reasonably available control technology (RACT) state implementation plan (SIP) revisions, as required by the EPA.
