Find your center and practice meditation in the spacious and tranquil Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. Offered in collaboration with Union is Creation and Youniversoul this meditation series will feature the use of singing bowls and wind chimes to encourage mindfulness and connectivity. Guests should bring their own cushion or mat.

All guests are required to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer before entering the Cistern. Markers will be placed throughout the space to indicate socially-distanced spots. Cleaning will take place between every Cistern tour and meditation session.
Senior adults are invited to a variety of natural history programs, leisurely walks and fun nature activities every 1st Friday of the month. Meet at the nature center.

HPARD has partnered with SCA and TCEQ to restore riparian and prairie habitat at this nature park. Activities include planting native species, removing invasives, and trash pick-up.
